~~Is this you?
Being a parent should be easier than this! Perhaps you can't take your daughter shopping because she throws a tantrum every time. Or maybe you have a child who makes bedtime a nightmare. Or a son who never seems to listen to anything you tell him to do. If your child has a particular behavior problem that is making family life more difficult than it should be, then Level 3 Individual Triple P can help.
Level 3 Individual Triple P gives guidance that is tailored to help you with specific issues. How it works? Primary Care is a short series of brief one-on-one counseling sessions between a primary care provider and a parent. Sessions can be face-to-face or over the phone and deal with very specific behavioral problems or parenting issues. Four individual consultations of between 45 and 90 minutes take place over a period of about 4–6 weeks. The parent coach helps the parent identify ways to manage the problem behavior and promote positive behaviors.
Who is it for?
Primary Care is for parents of children, birth to 16 years, with mild developmental or behavioral problems such as tantrums, whining, poor bedtime routines, fighting with siblings or other aggressive behaviors.
